Data Models
This section presents the data models for the main BioNetDB entities, such as gene, transcript, protein, variant and sample; and how they are modeled in the graph database as nodes with their own attributes and their relationships to other nodes.
In addition, BioNetDB includes the Reactome pathways and they are modeled according to (see Reactome database for more details).
